This batch was made, by request, for our computer-fixer-guy-friend. ;-) Baked goods seem to be our payment to him.
CAKE MIX COOKIES
1 package chocolate (your favorite - devil's food, german chocolate, etc) cake mix
1/3 cup milk (I've also used the morning's leftover coffee with scrumptious results!)
1/4 cup softened butter or margarine
1 egg
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Combine cake mix, butter, milk, and egg; beat on low speed until very stiff dough forms. Mix in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonful, 2 inches apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-13 minutes, or until set. Let stand a few minutes, before removing from baking sheet.

Mmmmmm! Now I want cookies! Maybe I should try it out! Stopping by from SITS!
Shhhhhh, I won't tell the computer-fixer-guy-friend that I found the recipe & it's at my finger tips any time I need it! ;) They really ARE the best!
My friend made some German Chocolate Cake Cookies and they were delicious, so I have been looking for a recipe similar to his and I found this. I am definitely going to give it a shot. :)
Chelsea,
I've used a German Chocolate Cake mix and added chocolate chips AND raisins to the cookies. They were very good! I hope you give the recipe a try! It's so easy to experiment with: spice cake mix with raisins, red velvet cake mix with white chocolate chunks... endless possibilities!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you'll check out some of my other recipes!
